They learn about the value of Pride and in taking pride in themselves, their unit and its history, their work and their achievements, self respect and self worth. They are thought Integrity, its importance in society, moral excellence and honesty and to grow to be upstanding citizens of society. Most importantly every Legion Cadet member is thought that they are a 'Frontiersmen First'  - to look out for your mates as one of them is already looking out for you.

Our officers and cadets maintain the tradition and comradeship of our ancestors and the Australian attitude of mateship that has long been associated with our history and important to our countries values.
